Nonprofit Montgomery Tables for Ten

Nonprofit Montgomery is now organizing two CEO Tables for Ten - one for CEOs of large organizations and one for CEOs of smaller organizations. Each Table for Ten meets for three consecutive months for breakfasts or lunch. For continuity, interested CEO's must agree to participate in all three discussions. Both series will begin in early March and the second and third dates will be determined at the first "table".

Previous discussion questions have included:
  • "What to do with emeritus Board members?"
  • "How can you really get Board members to solicit, not just provide potential donor names?"
  • "How do you balance work and home life?"
  • "How are you handling downsizing? What is the impact on staff and the Board level? And on you, personally?"

Nonprofit Montgomery is also organizing a Table for Ten for Deputy Directors (or other Number Two positions). Like the CEO Tables, this is a series of three monthly breakfasts or lunches, beginning in March or April. Discussions are generated by members, and conversations are private and confidential.

  • "What do you need to succeed in the Number Two position?"
  • "How is your leadership different from that of the CEO?"
  • "Is success only defined as becoming a nonprofit CEO?
